A Round Table: “The Meaning of free Access to the Information” – Zagreb

On June 3rd, 2019. has been held a Round Table: „The meaning of free access to the Information“ in the hotel Westin in Zagreb in the organisation of The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, The Association of widows of the Croatian soldiers of the Homeland War of the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County and The Association of the families of died Croatian soldiers of the Homeland War of the Republic of Croatia, regarding Initiative for the Law on Disclosure of Information which mentioned Association sent to the Government of the Republic of Croatia and to the Croatian Parliament on September 21st, 2018. and still didn’t receive any reply. Prominent speakers: Mr. Karsten Dumell, PhD of Philosophy, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Deputy Department Head in Saarland, Department of Civic Education; Mrs. Kristina Gogić, and Expert on Human Rights, European and International Law; Mr. Anto Kovačević, PhD of Philosophy, Former MP in the Croatian Parliament; Mr. Jure Vujić; a lawyer and political scientist, Head of the Institute for Geopolitics and Strategic Researches and Mr. Jure Zovko, PhD of Philosophy, full professor on the University of Zadar; discussed, in the absence of the invited representatives of the Croatian Governmental Institutions, about necessity of passing of that law.
